- Angled and grooved wings offer easy fixation and prevent rolling of cannula over the patient's body.
- Wing position reduces the risk of bacterial contamination by preventing any direct contact between the rear of the catheter hub and the skin.
- The Obturator protects the inner lumen of the catheter from coagulation and thrombus formation after discontinuation of infusion.
- The Obturator is colour coded to match the corresponding catheter.

injection site which has one way retreating valve (silicone tube) to facilitate extra medication the valve is provided with specially designed cap in corporating a recessed plug with a protective skirt to effectively prevent contamination when the valve is not in use.
The valve cap has special design for resting the finger to facilitate effective two point grip for cannulation.
